Construction Safety Training: Alberta OHS Legislation Awareness
This one-day course has been designed for owners, employers, managers, supervisors, and workers who want to increase their knowledge about Alberta Occupational Health & Safety legislation and its application.
Students will:
- learn about the history, structure and contents of Alberta OH&S Act, Regulation and Code
- complete exercises by using the legislation book to find specific pieces of information
- apply their knowledge in a final Case Study based on a real incident investigation by OH&S
Safety professionals, managers and other workers can use the information provided in this course to locate, understand and explain legislative requirements that apply to their company's operations.
This course can be one of the four courses required for the Certificate of Recognition Program.
