Building to SECOR
BOWDA and Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) are providing the Building to SECOR workshops. These 4 workshops will help you build your Health and Safety Management System, and provide you with the basis to obtain your Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) certificate.
Benefits of SECOR Certification include:
- Reduced WCB Rates
- Ability to bid on jobs that require SECOR certification
- Improved safety on your jobsite

- Feb 18, 2016: Health and Safety Policy / Hazard Identification
- Feb 19, 2016: Hazard Control
- Mar 18, 2016: Preventative Maintenance, Training and Communications, Workplace Inspections, Contractor Management
- Apr 22, 2016: Incident Investigation, Emergency Response, Records and Statistics, Legislation and SECOR Evaluation Document.
