Topic: Construction Safety
Presented by: Colin Steadman of Alberta Construction Safety Association, who will discuss the purpose of ACSA, and services that they offer to construction-related businesses such as Safety Manual Review, COR training, Prime Contractor information, and upcoming seminars to be offered in Canmore for construction businesses.
While safety is not always a focus for a presentation, the fact that we read in the news in December of 3 separate fatalities on construction sites in and around Calgary is an indication of the importance of this topic, and the importance of keeping safety at the forefront of everyone's mind.
