This is an opportunity to buy them lunch so that they can attend and get some well deserved time away from the office!\n\n\n\nThe lunch starts off with the bar at 11:30 sponsored by Canmore Paint & Interiors - Benjamin Moore\, MAGPro Building Systems\, Woodpecker European Timber Framing\, and Valley Home Building Centre. The annual Festive Tie Fundraising will support Canmore Community Daycare and the YWCA Bow Valley Women's Emergency Shelter. Last year Lafarge purchased the tie for $5\,000 on the condition that Mayor John Borrowman would wear it throughout the year. John will give us an update on where the tie has been in 2015! This year\, as an added incentive to bid on the tie\, the successful bidder will receive 4 tickets to the GMC Rangeland Derby at the 2016 Calgary Stampede. This package is valued at a minimum of $1\,500. Thanks to Christopher Vincent from Sotheby's for providing this added incentive to bid on the tie!\n\n\n\nIf you aren't interested in bidding on the tie\, you will still have the opportunity to donate to the charities of choice. Last year $25\,000 was raised in less than 10 minutes. In total\, BOWDA members have raised over $110\,000 in the past 9 years for local charities.\n\n\n\nFollowing the tie auction and fund-raiser we will have some entertainment that you won't want to miss.
